Allow me to paint a picture of who I am, my characteristics, and the experiences that have molded me into the man I am today. As a loyal and honest husband to my stunning and gifted wife Tammy, and a dedicated father to our three exceptional children, Nygel, Teigan, and Justin, who has blessed us with three beautiful grandchildren, my family is my driving force. They are the reason I rise every morning, and they are the reason I continue reaching for my dreams everyday. Because of them, failure has never been an option for me, they have always been the root of all the success I have achieved.

Back When It All Started...

Ever since I was a teenager, I was fascinated with technology, specifically computers. I can still recall the sound of a 14.4K baud modem connecting to the World Wide Web for the first time. At 14 years old, I had no idea that this innovation would shape my life and the lives of billions in the future. For those who didn't experience it, imagine waiting an hour to download a 10-kilobyte file-size picture. Technology has undoubtedly progressed since then. The notion of conversing with someone on the other side of the globe via email or mIRC, the first online chat program, was beyond my wildest dreams. I never thought that the Internet would become the platform for creating millions of millionaires by enabling people to express their personalities and follow their passions.

In the mid-2000s, after the dot-com bubble burst, I began to pay attention to the pioneers of Internet marketing. Figures such as Mike Filsaime, Jay Abraham, John Reese, Frank Kern, Robert Allen, Yanik Silver, Andy Jenkins, and Joe Vitale were already establishing themselves and building online empires. These gentlemen were the ones responsible for launching the early Internet marketing industry. For years, I followed their work, absorbing everything I could to make money on the web. I attended countless seminars across North America and purchased hundreds of online courses in search of what worked and by experience what didn't. If a course in Internet marketing was released, it's highly probable that I bought it. My pursuit of this dream has cost me well over $100,000 dollars, and the years of studying to try and master this internet marketing industry would be akin to obtaining a Ph.D. in IM Philosophy.

In the beginning years, I acquired the knowledge to generate traffic, design websites, build lists, generate leads, promote affiliate programs, and even dabbled in some copywriting. However, I was intimidated by the vastness of it all I couldn’t see how it all fit together. I had little direction on how to formulate a business and progress properly. Despite purchasing and studying numerous programs, I could not see any success. I lacked direction, and my lack of success just contributed to my fear of failure. The overwhelm and confusion held me back for over a decade, and I never saw the results I desired.

I found myself jumping from one opportunity to the next, suffering from what is commonly known as "Shiny Object Syndrome." I ended up frustrated and overwhelmed and blamed others for my failures. I never took responsibility for my actions, and I was suffering from what I now recognize as Analysis Paralysis. Does this sound familiar? I am sure you might even be able to relate.

After experiencing little success in the internet marketing field, I decided to try my hand in network marketing, joining over eight different companies in seven years. I ended up constantly hounding my friends and family to join my businesses, which only pushed them away. I found myself feeling frustrated and overwhelmed, repeating the same patterns all over again.
One day, I realized that something had to change. I became aware that my limiting beliefs were holding me back from achieving success, and I decided to take 100% responsibility for everything happening in my life. I began meditating and performing daily focus rituals every morning, which enabled me to become more aware of my unconscious patterns.

As a result of meditating every day, I noticed significant changes in my life. I became more focused on my business goals and I took consistent daily action toward them. I decided to focus more on affiliate marketing and creating membership sites, setting clear goals, and making a game plan. This time, I was committed to following through until completion. I began building momentum and getting traction, and soon, the money started flooding in. I was having the time of my life, living on my own terms, and not worrying about anything.
I remember thinking to myself, "All this personal development stuff, it actually works!" It was the turning point in my life, and I am now grateful for the struggles that led me to where I am today. Remember, success is possible for anyone who is willing to take responsibility, change their limiting beliefs, and take consistent action towards their goals.

As I basked in the glow of my newfound financial success, I made a crucial error in judgment: I stopped meditating and doing my daily rituals. Gradually, I began to notice a shift in my surroundings. In short, once I abandoned my daily meditations and rituals, those old negative patterns that I had thought I'd conquered resurfaced with a vengeance. Suddenly, I began to feel as if I didn't deserve the wealth that I had accumulated. There was a nagging feeling that something just wasn't quite right within me. It seemed like I wasn't working hard enough or putting in enough hours every week to justify the amount of money I was earning.

Growing up on a farm in a small town, I was taught that money only came from sacrifice and hard physical work. After a few months of financial success, those beliefs and thoughts resurfaced, eventually overwhelming me. I unconsciously created a self-sabotaging situation, causing me to lose everything I had gained. My debts, including $50,000 in credit card and line of credit debt, were weighing heavily on me, leaving me in a world of trouble. It was a hard lesson to learn, but I took ownership of my actions, dusted myself off, and moved forward.

Over the next year, I tried various things to stay afloat financially, but it became increasingly challenging. You know the saying; we become what we focus on? I found it nearly impossible to focus on anything other than my massive debt. Finally, I had had enough. I realized that I needed to make a decision: either file for bankruptcy or undergo credit counseling. After thorough research, I opted for credit counseling, which allowed me to pay off my debt at zero percent interest and do minimal damage to my credit score. It took me two to three years to become debt-free, but finally, I could breathe again.

In retrospect, I now realize that everything happens for a reason. Through my struggles, I gained a deeper respect for money and acquired valuable knowledge about my motivations and behavioral patterns. Although those years were among the darkest of my life, I wouldn't change a thing. Without them, I would not have become the person I am today. I needed those experiences to grow and evolve into the teacher I was always meant to be. I emerged from the experience a stronger, more focused individual, armed with the wisdom to help others live more abundant, purposeful lives.

Today, I am devoted to helping others and giving back in any way that I can. Through my experiences, I've learned some valuable lessons that I'd like to share with you:

1. Be a servant. Give whatever you can to help those in need. Your contribution doesn't have to be monetary. You can offer your time, advice, or anything else that may be of help. Remember, whatever you give to others, the Universe will return to you tenfold. As Deepak Chopra once said, "If you want JOY, give JOY. If you seek love, offer LOVE. If you crave material affluence, help others become prosperous."

2. Be a conscious creator. Every day, be mindful of what you allow into your mind. Take the time to create daily rituals that will help you quiet your mind, visualize your goals and dreams, and consume self-help materials that can help you grow. Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who will lift you up and inspire you. As they say, you become the average of the top five people you spend the most time with.

Living my life according to these principles has transformed me both spiritually and financially.
